\nThe digital transformation is changing the way we access and deal with knowledge. This also affects u niversity learning and teaching. Digital teaching formats are becoming an equal part of the classroom. During the Corona pandemic\, digital teaching and learning has also become more important.
\nIn the course "Your toolbox for digital teaching at the University of Basel"\, you will get an overview of the different tools\, platforms and infrastructure you can us e to design and offer your course or parts of it digitally. We will addres s both the synchronous phase ("presence")\, but also the asynchronous phas e ("accompanied self-study") of your teaching\, as well as tools for condu cting online exams.
\nThis course differs from the previous course " Online teaching and learning: scenarios and tools" in the following ways: more focus on tools and their use in the classroom\, less emphasis on the didactic aspects\; presentation of new tools introduced during the Corona pandemic.
\nRequirements for issuing a certificate of attendance:
- Minimum attendance time at the virtual classroom sessions of 80%
- Successful completion of the assignments to be completed in the self-
study.
